Blattodea

Alice Fujii has found no peace since surviving a brutal attack by psychotic, insect-themed assassins at her school. The relentless battles, the dark revelations about her family’s past, and the devastating betrayals by two false friends—who ultimately met their end—have left deep scars on her psyche. Compounding her trauma is the loss of her Kumoito knife-gun. Now emotionally fractured, Alice wanders a ruined Japan alone, spending her days executing the predatory zombies that have overrun the country in the wake of the school massacre. Despite her isolation, she cannot escape the attention of powerful forces. A mysterious group known as the Organization seeks to recruit her as their new Boss, recognizing her lethal capabilities even in her broken state. Meanwhile, her former allies Gokiburi and Kabutomushi are actively searching for her, desperate to find her before the world consumes what remains of her sanity. Caught between a dangerous syndicate, searching companions, and an apocalyptic wasteland, Alice must confront whether she can endure the mounting pressures or if her fractured mind will finally shatter completely.
