The Silent Reading Club

Following the suspicious suicide of his older brother, Gaeul, Haneul enrolls at the very school his sibling once attended. Driven by a need for answers, he joins the Silent Reading Club—a group where Gaeul was an active and dedicated member—hoping to piece together the hidden circumstances that led to such a tragic end. On the surface, Haneul appears motivated purely by grief and familial devotion, yet unsettling questions linger about whether brotherly love is truly the only force driving him to infiltrate this environment. As Haneul delves deeper into the club’s inner workings, he discovers that nothing is as it seems. Every individual within this circle, including the protagonist himself, harbors a wealth of closely guarded secrets. These buried truths gradually intertwine, weaving a suffocating web of deception and hidden motives. What begins as a personal investigation soon transforms into a perilous descent into an impenetrable darkness, one that threatens to swallow everyone involved before they can ever find their way out.
