Arikai Annu

Arikai Annu follows the quiet, dedicated life of a young girl and her grandfather, who share an unusual responsibility: tending to a nest of giant ants. Together, they maintain a careful routine, nurturing and protecting the remarkable colony that has become the center of their world. Their bond with these extraordinary creatures defines their daily existence, built on mutual trust and a deep understanding of the natural order within their home. This peaceful balance is abruptly shattered when a massive velvet worm arrives uninvited, posing a severe threat to everything they have worked to preserve. The sudden intrusion forces the girl and her grandfather into a desperate situation, as the formidable creature jeopardizes the safety of both the ant colony and their shared sanctuary. Realizing that conventional methods will not be enough to repel such a daunting predator, they must take decisive action to protect their livelihood. To save their home from destruction, the pair must rally the giant ants, uniting the colony in a coordinated defense against the overwhelming intruder. What follows is a tense struggle for survival, testing the limits of their bond with the insects and their determination to safeguard the only life they know.
