Demon Lord, Retry!

After fifteen years of managing a massively multiplayer online game, Akira Ono faces its permanent shutdown. However, instead of simply logging off for the final time, he finds himself thrust into an impossible situation. He awakens trapped within the very virtual world he built, inhabiting the body of his own in-game avatar: the fearsome Demon Lord. Suddenly stranded in a harsh fantasy realm of his own design, Akira must navigate a reality far more unforgiving than any game session. Joined by a young outcast who becomes his unlikely companion, he sets out to survive the dangers lurking around every corner. The world he created is now his prison, and its cruel mechanics are all too real. To make matters worse, his new identity paints a target on his back. The so-called forces of good are already mobilizing to hunt him down, determined to prosecute the dreaded Demon Lord. With relentless heroes closing in and the looming threat of the world's ultimate final boss standing in his way, Akira must use everything he knows about his creation to stay alive in a story where he was never meant to be the hero.
