Kyou kara Onushi wa Warawa no Musuko

Set in the modern era, a young boy finds himself completely alone after his mother abandons him at a quiet shrine. His fate takes an unexpected turn when he is discovered and taken in by an ancient serpent deity who has harbored a deep affection for raising human children since time immemorial. For this divine being, nurturing a child is a cherished pursuit, offering the forsaken boy a chance at a new life filled with warmth and devotion. Despite the serpent god's genuine love and earnest desire to be a good parent, the realities of their existence soon complicate matters. As a non-human entity steeped in antiquity, the deity struggles to grasp the nuances of contemporary human upbringing. Their expressions of care and parental guidance frequently miss the mark, resulting in endearing yet profoundly unconventional situations. What follows is a unique story of found family, exploring the heartfelt and often comical disconnect between a well-meaning immortal guardian and the very human child they are determined to raise.
