Highschool of the Dead

A mysterious illness is spreading rapidly through the halls of Fujimi High School, transforming it from a place of learning into a hive of nightmares as infected students collapse and are reborn as flesh-hungry zombies. Among the handful of students who escape the initial outbreak are Takashi Komuro and his childhood friend, Rei, whom Takashi manages to protect from the initial onslaught. However, with the whole school and possibly the entire town now out for their blood, Takashi and the remaining students face an uncertain future, fighting for survival in a desperate bid to stay alive.
