Escape into Oblivion

Woo-Jin is a man consumed by a single, overwhelming desire: to sever his ties with the real world and vanish into oblivion. He seeks nothing but an escape from his everyday existence, distancing himself from attachments and expectations alike. However, his plans for isolation are complicated by Hwon, whose sole ambition in life is entirely focused on Woo-Jin. Hwon desires nothing more than to remain by his side, driven by an affection so profound that it defies all logic or reason. Baffled and deeply unsettled by the sheer intensity of Hwon’s unwavering devotion, Woo-Jin resolves to drive him away at any cost. To achieve this, he begins issuing a series of increasingly absurd and unreasonable demands, fully expecting them to shatter Hwon’s resolve. Yet, no matter how cruel or impossible these conditions become, Hwon refuses to back down. Instead of retreating, he meets every challenge head-on, proving time and again that his dedication cannot be broken. As Woo-Jin pushes harder and Hwon holds firmer, their dynamic spirals into a tense psychological struggle between one man desperate to flee reality and another determined to anchor him to it.
