Ookami to Hitsuji

Kouta has long since rejected his supernatural abilities, choosing instead to distance himself from the extraordinary nature that sets him apart from everyone else. Convinced that his powers only serve to isolate him from normal society, he deliberately turns his back on magic in an attempt to live an ordinary existence free from the burden of being different. This self-imposed suppression defines his daily life, as he struggles to reconcile his innate gifts with his desperate desire for belonging and normalcy. His carefully constructed facade begins to shift when he encounters an individual who harbors a genuine affection for the very magic he has forsaken. This unexpected meeting challenges Kouta’s deeply ingrained beliefs about his own identity and the value of his abilities. Faced with someone who sees wonder rather than alienation in the supernatural, he must confront the emotional walls he has built and reconsider whether rejecting his true self was truly the path to acceptance. The encounter sparks a pivotal moment of introspection, forcing him to navigate the tension between his fear of difference and the possibility of finding connection through the very thing he once abandoned.
