Mind Game

Nishi is a timid comic artist who has spent his life harboring feelings for his childhood crush, Myon. Despite his deep affection, he has never found the courage to confess, especially now that she is engaged to a physically imposing truck driver. Content to remain in the background of her life, Nishi’s passive existence is abruptly shattered when violence erupts in an otherwise ordinary setting. A ruthless gangster storms into the coffee shop where Myon’s sister works, opening fire and plunging the patrons into chaos. Faced with sudden, mortal danger, Nishi is forced to abandon his meek nature and finally take decisive action. Refusing to let the woman he loves or her family come to harm, he steps up in a way he never thought possible. Seizing the moment, Nishi takes both Myon and her sister and flees the scene, leaving his old, hesitant self behind. What begins as a desperate escape quickly spirals into an extraordinary adventure of immense proportions. Thrust far beyond the boundaries of his quiet life, the once-reluctant artist must navigate a wild, unpredictable journey to protect the people he cares about most.
