House Backer

House Backer follows the unlikely professional pairing of a sharp-tongued, highly efficient young housekeeper and an exceptionally demanding novelist. Despite his abrasive demeanor and complete lack of conventional politeness, the young man possesses an undeniable talent for domestic management, executing every household task with flawless precision. His formidable skills ultimately lead him to be hired by an author notorious for having impossibly high standards and a difficult temperament. The arrangement immediately sets the stage for a compelling clash of strong personalities within the confines of a single home. The novelist expects absolute perfection and constant availability, placing immense pressure on the newly hired caretaker. However, the young housekeeper is entirely unfazed by these intense expectations, meeting every unreasonable request with brisk competence rather than deference. As their daily routines intertwine, the friction between the employer’s exacting nature and the employee’s blunt efficiency forms the core dynamic of the story, creating a unique domestic environment where mutual tolerance must constantly be negotiated.
