The Devilish Valet

At the Princess Cafe, a unique establishment where every patron is treated like royalty, Shiori seeks solace following a painful breakup. It is within this enchanting setting that she encounters Kisaragi, a valet whose kindness and dashing demeanor initially convince her that he is the perfect gentleman. However, her romantic illusion shatters when she discovers his surprising past as a former gang member, revealing a complex identity that starkly contrasts with his polished professional persona. Despite his impeccable service inside the cafe, Kisaragi’s behavior toward Shiori shifts dramatically once they step outside, where he frequently bullies her rather than offering comfort. This jarring duality creates an emotional conflict for Shiori, who finds herself unable to suppress her growing affection despite his harsh treatment in their private interactions. Her heart remains tethered to him even as she navigates the confusing gap between his gentle facade and his intimidating reality. This manga collection features the titular story alongside several other included works, forming a sweet romance anthology dedicated to girls navigating the complexities of love. Through Shiori’s turbulent relationship with the enigmatic valet, the narrative explores themes of hidden identities and persistent devotion, offering readers a heartfelt exploration of affection that endures despite contradictions and unexpected challenges.
