Oni Otoshi

When a wife suddenly begins preparing elaborate meals with unusual enthusiasm—especially when there is no anniversary, birthday, or special occasion to celebrate—a husband should be on high alert. In the world of Oni Otoshi, this sudden burst of domestic energy is far from an innocent gesture of affection. Instead, it serves as a subtle yet unmistakable warning sign that something extraordinary is about to unfold behind closed doors. This unexpected culinary dedication is the precursor to a mysterious and intense marital tradition known as the "Oni-no-Oshiro" ritual. What initially appears to be a loving surprise quickly transforms into a daunting test for the unsuspecting husband. The story explores the humorous and suspenseful dynamic that arises when everyday domestic life masks a secret, demanding practice. As the lavish dishes are served and the atmosphere shifts, the protagonist must brace himself for the overwhelming experience that awaits him, turning an ordinary evening at home into a challenging encounter he may not be fully prepared to survive.
