Fragrant Magician

Emperor Carlos Afforny is tormented by a relentless and worsening curse that forces him to perceive a foul stench emanating from every person and object around him. Unable to endure the agony any longer, he summons Ersala, the apprentice of the Grand Witch, to the imperial palace in a desperate bid for salvation. However, her lack of practical experience proves to be a significant obstacle. Rather than breaking the affliction entirely, her spell only partially s쳮ds, granting the emperor relief from the unbearable odor exclusively when she remains close by. This incomplete magic leaves the two bound together under highly unusual circumstances. To make matters more complicated, Ersala possesses the ability to cast magic only once a year, meaning she cannot attempt to fully lift the curse again for a considerable time. Consequently, the young witch finds herself tethered to the emperor's side, serving as his sole source of comfort while waiting for the opportunity to try again. Until that day arrives, their intertwined fates force them into an unavoidable proximity within the palace walls.
