Light of Arad: Forerunner

Jinseong makes his living as a professional streamer of the popular online action game Dungeon and Fighter. During a routine broadcast, he teams up with a ranger who explicitly warns him not to interfere in an upcoming boss battle. Ignoring the plea, Jinseong steps in to help fight the enemy—a seemingly harmless decision that triggers catastrophic consequences. Unbeknownst to him, the ranger is not a regular player but a real person trapped inside the game world, whose survival depends entirely on completing specific missions. By intervening, Jinseong inadvertently causes the ranger’s failure and subsequent death. Held responsible for this tragedy, Jinseong is forcibly pulled into the digital realm of Arad to answer for his actions. Now stranded within the very game he once played for entertainment, he is compelled to take on the role of a Dark Knight and navigate its perilous quest line. A dangerous contamination is spreading throughout the world, corrupting the system and leading other players astray while threatening to destroy Arad entirely. To find a way back home, Jinseong must confront this escalating crisis head-on, fighting through a hostile reality where a single mistake could cost him his life just as it did the ranger's.
