Ra-On was once a celebrated idol at the peak of her career, but a string of public scandals forced her into an indefinite professional hiatus. Seeking a path back into the industry during her time away from the spotlight, she is assigned a new and unexpected responsibility: mentoring Ho-Rang, a trainee preparing for an imminent debut with a rising girl group. Ra-On anticipates a straightforward coaching experience, only to find herself facing a deeply unmotivated protégé. For reasons Ra-On cannot decipher, Ho-Rang is fiercely determined to abandon her opportunity at stardom entirely. Her vocal performances lack passion, and her overall mindset is far from ready for the stage. Tasked with salvaging the young trainee's confidence and refining her skills before the debut window closes, Ra-On struggles against Ho-Rang's relentless resistance. Every conventional method of encouragement seems to fall flat, leaving the former star frustrated by the seemingly impossible challenge of reigniting a dream Ho-Rang wants no part of. Just as the situation appears hopeless, Ra-On stumbles upon an unconventional breakthrough. She discovers that pinching Ho-Rang in one highly specific spot produces an immediate and dramatic shift in the trainee's mood and vocal energy. Armed with this bizarre but effective trick, Ra-On finally finds a way to elevate Ho-Rang’s spirits and push her toward the stage.
