Namaiki Asahi-chan wo Wakarasetai

Ryou is a third-year high school student who spends his days fully embracing the otaku lifestyle. His peaceful routine, however, is constantly disrupted by one particular annoyance: Asahi, a girl two years his junior who attends the same school. Despite being his underclassman and childhood friend, she never misses an opportunity to relentlessly tease him, turning his daily life into an endless test of patience. Asahi’s arrogance comes with a glaring contradiction. While she delights in provoking Ryou, the moment he attempts to fire back, she immediately retreats behind the excuse that it is unfair to say mean things to such a cute girl. To make matters worse, she openly mocks introverted people who lack friends and struggle to express their true feelings—a jab aimed squarely at Ryou himself. Her smug attitude and double standards create a frustrating dynamic that leaves him with no peace. Caught between her relentless teasing and her hypocritical defenses, Ryou finds himself facing a singular, burning goal. Someone needs to put this insufferably cocky underclassman in her place, and sooner or later, he intends to be the one to finally teach Asahi a lesson she will not forget.
