Musket Girls! Tensei Sanbou to Senretsu Otome-tachi

After a premature death in his previous life, the protagonist is reborn into a world defined by early modern warfare, where line infantry formations clash in relentless volleys of musket fire. Serving as a commoner-born second lieutenant, he has earned the grim moniker "Krombertz the Grim Reaper" due to the staggering number of casualties his men have suffered on the battlefield. Shunned and feared by his peers for this dark reputation, he is ultimately reassigned to the 6th Special Tasks Brigade—an entirely female military unit—where he is tasked with serving as a staff officer. His new posting proves to be an overwhelming challenge. The brigade’s commander harbors mysterious motives, the non-commissioned officers are carefree and undisciplined, and the rank-and-file foot soldiers are little more than amateur girls completely unprepared for the horrors of war. Yet, in this unforgiving era, those who refuse to fight are simply slaughtered. Realizing that these young women will inevitably perish if nothing changes, Krombertz resolves to transform them into capable soldiers. The only question remaining is how a despised tactician can possibly forge a competent fighting force from such unlikely recruits before the enemy arrives.
