Fall in Love, You False Angels

To her classmates, first-year high school student Otogi Katsura is the picture of perfection. As the class president, she projects an aura of sweetness and grace, earning her the affectionate nickname "heartthrob angel." Beneath this flawless exterior, however, lies a brash and assertive young woman who never hesitates to confront bad behavior. This stands in stark contrast to her vice president, Toki Ninomae, a remarkably beautiful and soft-spoken boy whose gentle demeanor seems to perfectly complement her public persona. The delicate balance between their two images shifts dramatically one afternoon at the train station. When a group of boys attempts to harass her, Otogi drops her sweet facade entirely and fiercely scolds them. To her astonishment, Toki witnesses the outburst and is not repulsed—he is genuinely captivated by her fiery nature. Even more surprising, his reaction reveals that the seemingly polite vice president harbors a hidden side of his own, one that makes him far more intriguing to Otogi than she ever expected. Bound by the discovery of each other's true personalities, the two strike a pact to keep their secret selves hidden from the rest of the school. Yet, as they navigate daily life as partners-in-crime, the shared deception begins to blur the lines between pretense and genuine connection, drawing them closer together in ways neither anticipated.
