The Stars Are on My Side

In the aftermath of a devastating catastrophe that erased modern civilization, humanity’s survival depends entirely on a network of enigmatic towers. Within these towering sanctuaries, those who conquer the highest floors are celebrated as elite warriors known as Astras. Baek Homin, however, exists at the very bottom of this hierarchy, serving as a mere lackey with no prospects for advancement. His fate shifts dramatically when he is marked with a specialized circuit tattoo designed to unlock latent abilities. This mysterious inscription grants him an extraordinary power: the ability to access the memories and experiences of his three previous incarnations, all of whom were legendary Astras in their own right. Armed with the accumulated knowledge and skills of his past lives, Homin embarks on a perilous journey through the tower's treacherous depths. The path ahead is fraught with formidable adversaries eager to crush anyone daring to rise above their station. As he navigates this dangerous new reality, the question remains whether the current generation of Astras will recognize his potential and protect him, or if he must rely solely on the echoes of his former selves to survive the relentless threats awaiting him.
