Marriage to the Wolf: An Interspecies Union

After a devastating year of failed harvests, the Rabbit village faces the very real threat of starvation. With food supplies nearly exhausted and hope fading fast, an unexpected lifeline emerges from the neighboring Wolf tribe. The wolves propose a startling arrangement: they will provide the desperate rabbits with monthly food rations, but only if the village offers a bride to the son of the prominent Kuroe family. As the sole eligible candidate, a young rabbit named Kaede is selected for the union. To him, however, this political marriage feels far less like a wedding and much more like a sacrificial offering made to save his people. Upon arriving at the Wolf tribe’s settlement, Kaede quickly discovers that his new life will be anything but peaceful. He immediately clashes with his fiancé, Ren—a brooding, ill-tempered young wolf who has no interest in the arranged marriage or the rabbit thrust upon him. Caught between two vastly different species and burdened by mutual resentment, the reluctant pair must navigate their deep-seated friction. Whether these two can bridge the divide before their wedding day, or if their interspecies union is destined to collapse before it even begins, remains to be seen.
