Sarazanmai: Reo and Mabu

Reo and Mabu are no ordinary law enforcement officers. Operating as supernatural cops and covert agents for a mysterious empire, their daily routines are anything but conventional. Their already bizarre lives take an unexpected turn when they stumble upon an infant resting inexplicably on a plate in the middle of the street. Driven by duty and compassion, the two men decide to take the child in while they search for her missing parents. They name the girl Sara, little knowing how profoundly she will alter their chaotic existence. As Reo and Mabu navigate the unpredictable twists of their strange profession, they soon realize that Sara is far from an ordinary child. She appears to possess her own set of supernatural abilities, adding yet another layer of mystery to their wild adventures. Amidst the danger and absurdity, a quiet transformation takes hold: the two hardened agents begin to develop a deep, genuine affection for the baby, loving her as fiercely as if she were their own daughter. This boys' love spin-off manga explores the tender, everyday moments shared between the unlikely family. Serving as a companion piece to director Kunihiko Ikuhara's acclaimed anime Sarazanmai, which premiered on April 11, 2019, the series beautifully contrasts the duo's intense supernatural duties with the warmth of their domestic life.
