Ore wa Inu dewa Arimasen!

Misaki Souma never intended to get deeply involved in extracurricular activities, but a casual, thoughtless agreement to his teacher's request lands him squarely on the school's animal care committee. What begins as a mundane obligation quickly spirals into something entirely unexpected when he is introduced to the committee's president, an older student who holds a very peculiar view of her new underclassman. Rather than treating Misaki as a fellow committee member or a typical junior, the senpai firmly perceives him as a dog. This bizarre dynamic thrusts Misaki into a strange and uncomfortable situation where he must navigate the eccentric expectations of his superior. Despite being a regular high school student, he finds himself caught in a bewildering predicament shaped entirely by the president's unusual delusion. Now tasked with participating in the daily responsibilities of the animal care committee, Misaki struggles to maintain his dignity while dealing with a senpai who refuses to acknowledge his humanity. The story follows his comedic dilemma as he attempts to survive this odd arrangement, caught between fulfilling his teacher's original request and managing the relentless, dog-related treatment imposed upon him by the committee's unwavering president.
