Cross Account is a romantic comedy that explores the complex intersection of modern social media and the intertwined fates of two young people who were never destined to cross paths. The story follows Daichi, widely known by his peers as "Mr. Harmless." Driven by an incessant need to be liked by everyone around him, he carefully avoids making waves and maintains an aggressively easygoing demeanor. Unfortunately, his passive nature has earned him a reputation among his classmates as a dull and unexciting dud. However, Daichi leads a secret digital double life. Online, the mild-mannered teenager transforms into a confident, passionate stud. Operating under an angry otaku persona, his fiery internet presence has successfully garnered him thousands of devoted followers. The central conflict arises as the rigid boundary separating Daichi's mundane real-world existence and his vibrant online persona begins to collapse. Soon, he is forced to learn the hard way that the digital world and reality operate under entirely different rules, setting the stage for a comedic and unpredictable journey of self-discovery.
