Fire Girl

"I think you've already lost if you fall in love." That is the guiding philosophy of Hinooka Homura, a first-year student at Seiran High School who prefers chatting with friends over writing essays. With an attention span that fades after roughly ten seconds of deep thought, Homura carries the distinct aura of someone whose high school debut has already failed. Her ordinary life shifts entirely when she receives an unexpected invitation: "Why don't you try becoming a magician?" Intrigued by the offer, she joins her school's exploration club, an organization secretly affiliated with the National Union. Rather than typical extracurricular activities, the club is dedicated to researching an unknown world. Teaming up with Touya Takumi, a dedicated kendo practitioner; Misasagi Mayo, a girl excelling in both academics and martial arts; and Ameno, a living golem, Homura forms an unlikely adventuring party. Together, they set out to explore Nutera, a massive otherworldly planet several times the size of Jupiter. Leaving her lackluster daily routine behind, Homura steps into a grand adventure alongside her new companions, ready to uncover the mysteries of a breathtaking alien frontier.
