Asamiya-san no Imouto

Asamiya Aoi is a mysterious young girl who projects an air of innocence as she navigates a futuristic landscape, guided solely by her late father's sketchbook. Despite her seemingly naive demeanor, Aoi possesses a surprising resilience and resourcefulness that belies her gentle appearance. Her solitary journey takes an unexpected turn when she crosses paths with a young woman named Kyoko. Trusting her new acquaintance, Aoi shares her travel plans and reveals the contents of the sketchbook. What Kyoko discovers leaves her stunned. Far from a collection of casual drawings, the book functions as a detailed set of research notes, brimming with precise maps and invaluable information worth a fortune. Driven by greed, Kyoko devises a plan to steal the priceless journal. She masks her true intentions behind a facade of sisterly concern and convinces Aoi to let her tag along on the journey. As the two travel together, their encounters begin to profoundly impact the lives of the various people they meet across this advanced world. Through these shared experiences, Kyoko finds herself drawn deeper into Aoi's orbit, raising the question of whether her original scheme will hold or if she will finally uncover the truth about the enigmatic girl beside her.
