Shoujo Manga

Within the harsh realities of a makeshift homeless encampment, a young girl commits an act of petty theft against one of her own. She snatches a bag belonging to an elderly woman who shares the same marginalized community, likely expecting to find something of practical value or worth trading. Instead, when she finally opens her stolen prize, she discovers that it holds nothing more than a heavy collection of shoujo manga, stacked volume after volume. With few other distractions available in her bleak surroundings, the girl begins to read. She immerses herself in the romantic and dramatic pages of the series, working her way through every single volume contained within the bag. The stories offer a temporary escape from the unforgiving environment of the colony, drawing her into a world far removed from her daily struggles. Yet, the act of finishing the last page does not bring the closure she might have anticipated. Even after she has devoured every chapter and reached the final volume, the true narrative is far from over. The story extends well beyond the printed panels of the stolen manga, leaving the girl's own journey unresolved and waiting for its next chapter to unfold.
