Ogre Slayer

Long ago, an ogre mother gave birth to a child who defied the very nature of his lineage. Rather than bearing the fearsome horn characteristic of his kind, the infant arrived clutching a blade known as Onigirimaru, or the Ogre Slayer. Lacking any personal name, he is identified solely by the weapon he carries. Though his outward appearance is entirely human, his bloodline remains that of a pure ogre, trapping him in a paradoxical existence between two incompatible worlds. Driven by a singular conviction, the nameless swordsman believes that eradicating every last ogre from the mortal realm will finally grant him true humanity. Bound by this grim destiny, he embarks on a relentless crusade against his own kin, hunting them down without hesitation or mercy. His journey transforms him into both executioner and outcast, forever walking the line between monster and man. Even today, beneath the modern skies of his native Japan, his solitary mission endures. He continues to wander the land as a silent hunter, systematically purging the world of ogres in the desperate hope that his final victory will at last allow him to claim the human life he has always been denied.
