Love and Sex is an anthology manga featuring seven standalone stories by various artists, each exploring the complex intersections of romance, desire, and hidden secrets. In one tale, a young woman named Yurika lives like a caged bird, blindly accepting her arranged engagement to Satoshi, her controlling piano instructor. Her passive existence shatters when Hibiki, a brilliant but rebellious pianist, teaches her to channel raw emotion into her music—and introduces her to far more intimate awakenings. Another story follows Miona, who rescues a freezing, intoxicated university student named Rikuya from the cold. As a gesture of gratitude, he takes her to an amusement park, sparking a budding romance between them. However, their newfound connection turns sinister the following day when Miona sees a news report about a female student from Rikuya’s university being stabbed, leading her to suspect the man she is falling for might be the culprit. The remaining entries delve into equally compelling romantic mysteries and shifting dynamics. A school nurse harbors a clandestine secret regarding who he meets behind the closed doors of the health room, while another story examines how a specific cologne worn by a committee member triggers profound sadness in his colleague, Yukina. Childhood friends Yuzuki and Takara have always been so inseparable that others jokingly refer to them as a couple—a harmless tease given their five-year age gap. Yet, as thirteen-year-old Takara begins to mature, the joke loses its innocence, especially when the full moon stirs eighteen-year-old Yuzuki’s suppressed desires.
