Dark Heaven

Conor, a Korean-American navigating life in a city where same-sex marriage is legally recognized yet plagued by frequent racist and homophobic hate crimes, finds an unexpected connection through music. He joins a band alongside Simon, a striking blonde-haired, blue-eyed musician who quickly becomes his closest companion. Seeking refuge from the hostility of their surroundings, the two retreat to an abandoned church, transforming the forgotten sanctuary into their own private "dark heaven." Within the walls of this hidden haven, a deep romantic bond blossoms between Conor and Simon. Their relationship offers a fleeting sense of peace and belonging in a world that constantly rejects them. However, the fragile reality they have built cannot last forever. Bound by the inevitable truth that light cannot dwell with darkness, the pair must face the heartbreaking certainty that their time together is rapidly drawing to a close, threatening to shatter the only paradise they have ever known.
