Sagishi

In a certain kingdom, a fresh class of knight recruits has recently joined the ranks, but one young soldier stands apart from the rest. This peculiar newcomer possesses a rare and specialized magical ability known as puppetry magic. Rather than using this power to control others, he employs it to manipulate his own body with extraordinary precision. With this unique skill, he dedicates himself to constantly shielding his closest companion—a fellow recruit whose delicate appearance frequently leads others to mistake him for a girl. However, the greatest deception in the barracks belongs to the protector himself. Beneath the carefully constructed facade, the knight harbors a startling secret: he is actually a girl. Her disguise extends far beyond merely concealing her true gender. Every foundational detail of her identity has been meticulously fabricated to survive within the ranks. From her age and social standing to even her medical history and physical health, nothing on her official record reflects reality. As she navigates the perilous duties of knighthood, maintaining this elaborate web of lies becomes her most dangerous battle of all.
