Hard Boiled Quest

Sixteen-year-old Harbo Doirudo has been chosen as the hero destined to save the realm. Summoned before King Manyukel XIII of Arimohan, he receives a royal decree commanding him to vanquish the fearsome Demon King, Warumondesu. However, instead of accepting this monumental duty with courage, Harbo outright refuses. To him, embarking on a perilous journey is simply too much trouble. Rather than chasing glory or saving the world, his only true ambition is to live a completely carefree and leisurely life, free from any burdensome responsibilities. Despite his steadfast refusal to act, fate continues to draw legendary allies to his side. A skilled female warrior, a powerful female mage, and a formidable female martial artist—all handpicked companions—gather around the reluctant hero, fully prepared to aid him in his quest. Yet, even with an elite party assembled and ready for battle, the grand adventure never actually begins. Harbo’s unwavering dedication to doing absolutely nothing ensures that their epic journey remains perpetually stalled, turning what should be a heroic saga into a comedic tale of extreme reluctance.
