Amamizu Linda

The narrative of Amamizu Linda revolves around a clandestine group known as the Handicraft Club, whose members convene in secret within the decaying halls of an abandoned, off-limits school building. Far from ordinary artistic pursuits, their gatherings are shrouded in mystery and isolation, hidden away from the prying eyes of faculty and students alike. This secluded setting establishes an atmosphere of quiet unease, where the boundaries between innocent hobbyism and something far more esoteric begin to blur within the forgotten architecture of their sanctuary. The story takes a darker turn when one member discovers an enigmatic volume in a second-hand bookstore detailing the ritualistic construction of a human-like doll. Guided by this obscure text, the club gathers specific, symbolic materials including cloth, twigs, sweets, glass shards, and rainwater to attempt their creation. Their collective effort to fashion a being resembling a human transcends simple craftsmanship, suggesting a profound and potentially unsettling desire to bridge the gap between inanimate objects and living essence through forbidden or forgotten arts.
