I’ll Wait for You in 1999

"I want to protect you forever... because neither of us has anyone else in this world." Bound by a shared absence of family, two orphans forge an unbreakable bond that becomes their sole source of comfort and survival. With no relatives to guide them and no safety net to catch them, they must rely entirely on one another to navigate the harsh realities of growing up alone. This poignant coming-of-age story follows the lives of these two individuals as they transform from isolated children into inseparable best friends. Their promise to safeguard each other is not merely spoken out of affection, but born from absolute necessity. In a world that has offered them nothing, their friendship serves as both shelter and purpose, shaping every decision they make as they journey toward adulthood together.
