Summary
Official Details
Hato Yokoyama is a young man immersed in DDS-NET, a virtual game where players battle demons. During one session, he intervenes to protect a Pixie being assaulted by hostile creatures. When the system prompts him to slay the rescued Pixie in exchange for a valuable item, Hato defies the game's logic and refuses. In response to his defiance, a mysterious symbol suddenly manifests on his hand, triggering an unexpected teleportation that pulls him out of the familiar digital battlefield and into an entirely unknown realm. Upon arriving in this strange new area, Hato encounters a young girl whom he initially assumes to be nothing more than a non-playable character. His assumptions are quickly shattered when the legendary warrior Cu Chulainn appears, addressing the girl respectfully as his princess while dismissing Hato as just another demon. However, the hero's hostility vanishes the moment he notices the glowing icon branded on Hato's hand. Recognizing its significance, Cu Chulainn reveals that Hato is the prophesied Messiah. With this revelation, he implores the young man to stand by his side as an ally, tasking him with the monumental responsibility of protecting the princess from the dangers that threaten their world.
