Silent Manga Audition: Sekai kara Todoita Japanese Manga

Silent Manga Audition: Sekai kara Todoita Japanese Manga is a compilation volume originally published in 2013 featuring the winning entries from the first round of the Silent Manga Audition. This collection showcases selected works that adhered to the competition’s specific "Love Letter" theme, presenting stories created without dialogue to transcend language barriers. As an anthology of award-winning submissions, this publication serves as both a record of the inaugural contest and a showcase of international talent interpreting Japanese manga conventions through visual storytelling alone. The volume highlights diverse artistic approaches to the assigned romantic motif, demonstrating how creators from around the world conveyed emotion and narrative solely through sequential art within the silent manga format.
