Musaigen no Phantom World

Set in the near future, humanity exists in a reality shaped by its own imagination. Entities once dismissed as ghosts or monsters have materialized into the physical world, and society now refers to these manifestations as phantoms. To combat this supernatural threat, specialized academies train students to defend against the anomalies that plague their daily lives. At Hosea Academy, first-year student Haruhiko Ichijō finds himself surrounded by remarkable companions. His upperclassman, Mai Kawakami, battles phantoms using an ability known as the Spirit of Five Elements, while Izumi Reina possesses the rare power called Phantom Eater. They are joined by Koito Minase, a solitary fighter who confronts these otherworldly creatures entirely on her own. Together, they navigate the ordinary challenges and emotional turbulence of high school life while constantly preparing for supernatural encounters. However, their routine existence is destined to shatter. When an unforeseen incident disrupts their world, Haruhiko and his allies are thrust toward a startling revelation. The crisis forces them to confront the hidden truth behind the reality they inhabit, forever altering their understanding of the phantoms and the human imagination that brought them forth.
