Dandelion

People have been vanishing without a trace, never to be seen again after six o’clock in the evening. The authorities recover only their lifeless bodies the following morning, fueling unsettling rumors that the victims were spirited away by something unnatural. Determined to uncover the truth, Shintarou Asahina’s classmates resolve to hunt down the culprit themselves. Shintarou, however, refuses to participate. A harrowing incident two years ago left him burdened with nothing but regret, and he has no intention of becoming entangled in another dangerous mystery. His resolve is tested one evening on his walk home when strange sounds echo from the shrine grounds just as the clock strikes six. There, he stumbles upon his classmate, Natsume Hirasaka, locked in combat with a monstrous entity—a rogue god. As a priest, Natsume bears the sacred duty of banishing deities who seek to unleash chaos upon the human world. He urgently orders Shintarou to flee, and Shintarou obeys, retreating into the safety of denial. He tells himself that if he simply ignores what he witnessed, everything will return to normal by tomorrow. But deep down, he knows the truth may not let him go so easily.
