Tarareba

Tarareba is an anthology manga centered around a divine entity capable of reversing the flow of time. This enigmatic goddess manifests in the physical world through two mysterious figures: one appearing as a young girl and the other as an older woman. Together, they serve as the ethereal gatekeepers to a power that defies the natural order, offering humanity a tantalizing yet perilous glimpse into altering their own histories. The path to reaching this deity requires a specific ritual at a particular temple. Those burdened by regret who present an offering of pomegranates are granted a rare audience with the goddess. In return for this tribute, she extends an extraordinary opportunity: the chance to travel back and fundamentally change the course of one’s past. For individuals haunted by irreversible mistakes or tragic losses, this promise represents the ultimate salvation. However, such a profound alteration to fate demands a heavy toll. The goddess does not grant her miracles freely. In exchange for rewriting history, she claims a devastating price—the second most precious thing in the petitioner's life. This cruel stipulation transforms every wish into a harrowing dilemma, forcing those who seek her aid to weigh the value of their deepest regrets against the things they hold most dear.
