Unreal Sunshine

Unreal Sunshine is a comedic one-shot that follows the daily routine of a young man working at a local convenience store. His otherwise ordinary shifts are frequently disrupted by the arrival of his aimless, ne'er-do-well friend, whose lack of direction and unpredictable antics provide a steady source of humor. Together, the two navigate the mundane realities of retail work, trading banter and finding themselves in lighthearted situations that highlight their contrasting approaches to life. Rooted in themes drawn directly from the author's personal experiences, the story blends observational comedy with an authentic slice-of-life atmosphere. Rather than relying on exaggerated scenarios, the narrative finds its charm in the relatable dynamics between a hardworking employee and his perpetually drifting companion. Through sharp comedic timing and grounded character interactions, the one-shot offers an entertaining glimpse into the small, often humorous moments that define everyday life behind the counter.
