Sweet Monster

In a society deeply divided by fear and prejudice, individuals possessing the extraordinary ability to transform into animal forms are branded as Monsters. Rather than being accepted, they are systematically segregated from the rest of humanity, forced to live on the margins of a world that refuses to understand them. Years ago, a young boy named Riku formed an unlikely bond with a Monster child named Tsukasa. Their innocent friendship offered a brief glimpse of unity, but circumstances ultimately tore them apart, leaving Riku with nothing but memories of the boy he once knew. Now older, Riku enrolls in a specialized academy designed exclusively for Monsters, driven by the hope of finding his lost companion. His determination pays off when he finally reunites with Tsukasa within the school’s walls. However, navigating this unfamiliar environment proves far more challenging than anticipated. As one of the few humans among students who are more-than-human, Riku must confront deep-seated suspicion and hostility from classmates who have every reason to distrust his kind. To rebuild what was lost, he must prove his sincerity and bridge the divide between their worlds. As they grow closer, the question remains whether their renewed connection will simply echo the warmth of their childhood or evolve into something far deeper and more intimate.
