Yuusen Shoujo: Plug-in Girl

Six years ago, Tsukihiko threw himself into the path of an assassination attempt to shield a young girl named Sami. The violent incident left both of them on the brink of death, but Sami was no ordinary child—she was the daughter of an immensely powerful family. Leveraging their vast resources and advanced technology, her family managed to save them both by reconstructing their shattered bodies using cutting-edge cyborg engineering. However, this miraculous intervention came at a steep cost. Sami’s new cybernetic body permanently tethers her to a life-sustaining computer through a wired connection, rendering her entirely dependent on the system for her survival. She can never be fully free, forever bound to the machinery that keeps her heart beating. Tsukihiko, meanwhile, was transformed into something far more formidable. Rebuilt as a cyborg "Knight," he now dedicates his existence to a single, unwavering purpose: protecting Sami from any threat that dares approach her. Bound together by the tragedy that nearly claimed their lives and the mechanical bodies that now sustain them, the two navigate a world where danger still looms, and Tsukihiko must stand as her ultimate shield against those who once tried to take her away.
