Miki Sasaoka, a young freelancer, has long harbored a quiet but consuming affection for his childhood friend, Keisuke Takeo, who is currently navigating life as a college student. For years, Miki has kept his feelings carefully concealed, operating under the firm assumption that Keisuke is strictly interested in women. The weight of this unrequited love and the jealousy it breeds threaten to consume him from the inside out, yet he remains resigned to his silent role in Keisuke’s life. Everything shifts dramatically when Miki discovers an unexpected truth: Keisuke has developed genuine romantic feelings for another man. Rather than retreating into heartbreak, Miki is struck by a bold and desperate resolve. Driven by the fierce belief that it is far better to take what he wants than to watch someone else claim it, he decides to actively pursue the very person Keisuke admires. What follows is a high-stakes emotional gamble disguised within the mundane routines of everyday life. Miki embarks on a calculated mission to win over Keisuke’s crush, transforming his quiet longing into a tense romantic survival adventure where the ultimate prize is the one person he has always wanted.
