Deep within an unforgiving desert lies the final stronghold of humanity, a kingdom standing as the last bastion against the enigmatic Sand People. When the time comes for Prince Kirameki to ascend the throne, he refuses his royal duty, inadvertently creating a dangerous vulnerability. The Sand People seize this opportunity to abduct the reluctant prince, replacing him with an imposter: Saga, Kirameki’s half-brother, born of both human and Sand Person blood. Stripped of his identity and cast out from his own home, Kirameki is forced into grueling hard labor under the harsh desert sun while his usurper sits upon the stolen throne. However, Kirameki’s spirit remains unbroken. On the sacred day of the Water Festival, he mounts a daring return to reclaim his birthright. Aided by Serafita, the revered Water Goddess, the exiled prince fights to overthrow the deception and restore his rightful place as king. His struggle weaves together themes of betrayal, resilience, and divine intervention in a world where water is life and the shifting sands conceal deadly secrets.
