In the fifth year of the Showa era, Yokohama stands as a vibrant beacon of exoticism and rapid development, even as the shadow of militarism begins to darken post-war Japan. This fragile peace is shattered one night when the slaughtered bodies of students from a prestigious academy are discovered, sending shockwaves through the public. Amidst this turmoil, Kouzuki Elena arrives in the city to enroll at Ieva Girls’ School, unaware that her admission is merely a calculated deception orchestrated by those seeking a hidden truth she does not even possess. Orphaned and alone, Elena becomes the unwitting focal point of a dangerous conspiracy centered on a mysterious "scent" inherent to her being. This alluring fragrance acts as a sweet poison, capable of ensnaring and driving its victims to madness. Those who seek to exploit her believe this secret essence holds immense power, turning her arrival into a trap where the line between attraction and destruction blurs. As Elena navigates this treacherous environment, she remains oblivious to the fact that her very existence is the catalyst for a deadly obsession that threatens to consume everyone around her.
