Kokkoku: Moment by Moment

Juri Yukawa resides in a chaotic multi-generational household comprising her NEET father and brother, retired grandfather, single-mother sister, and young nephew. Her precarious daily life is shattered when her brother and nephew are abducted for ransom, leaving the family with only thirty minutes to comply with the kidnappers' demands. Recognizing the impossibility of securing the money in such a brief window, a desperate Juri arms herself with a knife and prepares to attempt a solo rescue. However, her grandfather intervenes by activating a mysterious heirloom stone passed down through the Yukawa lineage, instantly halting the flow of time to grant them an unexpected advantage. Within this frozen landscape where all matter and people remain completely inert, Juri, her father, and her grandfather race against the suspended clock to save their captured relatives. The stillness provides a seemingly perfect opportunity for extraction, yet the situation takes a sinister turn upon reaching the kidnappers' hideout. To their horror, they discover that they are not the sole entities capable of movement within this stagnant dimension. This revelation transforms a desperate rescue mission into a terrifying confrontation, as unknown adversaries navigate the same timeless void, threatening to shatter their fragile advantage and endangering everyone involved in the supernatural standoff.
