Regatta: Kimi to Ita Eien

Makoto Osawa is a dedicated university student and a standout member of his school's regatta team. Competing alongside his closest friend in the double scull, the pair has established an impressive winning streak, dominating their intercollegiate competitions. Supported by Misao, the team manager and his friend's girlfriend, the trio shares a singular, ambitious dream: to elevate their success and eventually compete on the Olympic stage. However, their promising future is shattered when Makoto’s partner is tragically killed in a racing accident. Devastated by the sudden loss, Makoto finds himself emotionally broken and unable to move forward. The water that once represented his greatest passion now serves as a painful reminder of everything he has lost. Left adrift without his teammate, Makoto must navigate the overwhelming weight of his grief while attempting to rebuild his fractured life. As he struggles to find the strength to pull himself together, he is forced to confront deeply personal challenges surrounding love, loyalty, and friendship.
