High school student Ponta eagerly anticipates a beach trip with his friends Taro and Jiro, viewing it as the perfect opportunity to finally lose his virginity. Accompanied by three girls—Emi, Rumi, and Chisa—the group decides their pairings through a game of rock-paper-scissors. Fortune smiles upon Ponta when he is matched with Chisa, the girl he secretly admires most. However, his romantic ambitions quickly fall apart when he realizes she is far less willing than he imagined. While his friends return from the trip teasing him about his failure, Ponta remains inexperienced. To everyone's surprise, Chisa approaches him before they part ways and asks him to stay in touch, sparking an unexpected romance between them. As their friendship gradually blossoms into love, the couple must navigate the natural hurdles of a new relationship. Chisa is remarkably innocent and has her own reasons for wanting to take things slowly, much to the frustration of the deeply infatuated Ponta. Determined to prove his devotion, he resolves to be patient and support her as she grows more comfortable in her own skin. Just as their bond begins to deepen, however, a sudden and terrible event occurs, threatening to become an insurmountable obstacle for the young lovers.
