Biwa is an aspiring screenwriter who has spent the last three years grinding away at an American television drama production company. After enduring a long stretch of hard work and waiting, his career finally reaches a turning point when he is selected to join a new drama production team. Eager to prove himself, Biwa prepares for the team’s inaugural meeting, only to have his focus shattered by a careless collision in the hallway. Distracted and rushing, he slams directly into a stranger who immediately fixes him with a piercing, hostile glare. To Biwa’s shock, the imposing man he just ran into is none other than Yamato Toyohira, Japan’s most celebrated actor and the starring lead of the very drama they are about to produce. Making matters far more complicated, Biwa discovers that his official role on the project is to serve as Yamato’s personal assistant. Instead of a smooth collaboration, Biwa finds himself constantly pushed to his limits by the star’s overwhelming arrogance. Now tasked with supporting a deeply egotistical leading man, the young screenwriter must navigate a maddening professional dynamic that threatens to drive him completely out of his mind.
