Summary

Official Details

Hinako is a high school student living a quiet, unassuming life in a coastal town. Despite the peaceful surroundings, she struggles to feel truly connected to her peers. As summer arrives, this emotional distance deepens, as the season inevitably brings back painful memories of the tragic loss of her family years ago. Isolated by her grief, she drifts through her daily routine until an unexpected encounter changes everything. One day, Hinako crosses paths with Shiori, an enigmatic girl who seems to embody the very essence of the sea. With striking, translucent blue eyes that mirror the ocean's depths, Shiori carries an otherworldly presence that immediately captivates Hinako. However, the mysterious newcomer is far from ordinary. Shiori soon reveals her true nature: she is a mermaid. More startling still is the reason behind her arrival, as she confesses that she has been searching for Hinako for a very long time. This revelation draws the grieving teenager into an unforeseen connection, intertwining her sorrowful past with the profound mysteries of the ocean and the strange girl who emerged from it.
