Nanimoiuna

Nanimoiuna is a mature manga anthology exploring the complex, often shadowy romantic entanglements of adult men. In its opening narrative, two ambitious gay salesmen named Kozakura and Majima will stop at nothing to close a deal. Upon discovering that the president of a major corporation shares their orientation, they attempt to leverage this secret, sparking a fierce rivalry over how far each is willing to go to secure the ultimate sale. Elsewhere, Director Ogura suspects his deputy, Takeuchi, of having an affair with his wife and devises a scheme for revenge that may not be what it seems. A prequel to this conflict reveals Takeuchi as a forty-year-old salaryman hiding behind a younger online persona, terrified to meet the man he has fallen for over the internet. The collection delves further into moral ambiguity through interconnected tales of desire and deception. An elderly woman named Tanaka finds long-dormant passions unexpectedly resurrected when two unscrupulous salesmen arrive at her door. A newcomer named Jun takes dangerous measures to catch a local attacker by offering himself as bait, hoping the culprit might at least be handsome. Finally, a straight-laced police detective named Yumino and a corrupt lawyer named Yuri reunite at the funeral of Yumino’s wife, Ao. Having known each other since high school, when Yuri harbored feelings for Yumino, the true depth of their tangled history slowly unravels in a satisfying exploration of complicated adult relationships.
